    The primary function of an Advanced Maintenance Technician is to safely provide an excellent service experience for our customers. They must always perform quality services with the utmost honesty and integrity.

    Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.


    Primary Job Duties: Engine Oil and Filter Changes, Tire Rotations, Tire Balancing, Tire Replacement, Brake Services and Repairs, Fluid exchanges and fluid flushes, and other repairs to meet our customer’s expectations.


    Other Job Duties include used vehicle inspections that meet or exceed Wisconsin states vehicle inspection requirements or Toyota Certified Used Vehicle Inspections. 


    Reads and accurately completes Toyota Multipoint inspection forms.


    Works closely as a team with constant communication.


    Speaks effectively with the customers in a polite and professional manner.


    Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.


    Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.


    Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.

    Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean.


    Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.


    Keeps shop area neat and clean.


    Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as they were received.


    Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.


    Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.


    Reports any safety issues immediately to management.


    Special vision requirements:

    • Must be able to see well enough to drive safely and visually inspect and repair

    Specific job duties that require the physical demands noted above:

    • Work mostly on
    • Need to walk to get out of vehicles, to get parts and to get equipment to repair
    • Need to use hands, fingers and arms to feel for problems, reach for tools and equipment and make needed
    • Need to crouch, stoop, crawl or kneel when setting a hoist or working under a
    • Need to communicate with service advisors and customers by talking and hearing. Also need to hear for noises while repairing
    • Most weight requirements are repetitive lifting of tools and auto parts most weighing 50 lbs or less. Once in awhile a part of assembly will weigh more than 50 pounds.

    Must maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
