Responsible for recording various financial transactions for the dealership, including vehicle transactions and title processing. Performs various clerical duties including filing, copying and record keeping. Provides accurate reporting for accounting department.
Posts both retail and wholesale vehicle deals
RDR both New and Certified Sold Vehicles
Maintains the accuracy of various accounts/schedules/logs and follows up on outstanding items and/or variances
Sends payoffs to banks
Sends out of state sales tax and title fees to customers
Logs sold vehicles in inventory logs
Prepares accounts receivable statements monthly. Ensures that statements are accurate and that control variances are corrected. Follows up on collection of past due charge accounts.
Compiles information and prepares reports as requested by management.
Two year accounting degree or equivalent work experience required.
Must have excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
